This year is different for baseball. Because the best players are not shining and the medium players are having a good start to the season. For example I do not know about your leagues but Gerrit Cole is the number one pitcher in my league. Nolan Arenado is supposed to start out with crazy stats but he has not yet. Just keep in mind that things are going to be different this year.

For a while I thought that Jose Abreu had a big name for a while and then slowed down. But when you look at his previous season he has been amazing. With projection that will set him high in the rankings you and your team will be very good.
Jose Abreu projections-30hr 84runs 96rbi 2sb .297avg
Madison Bumgarner I know he had the injury last season but they said that he would be okay for the 2018 mlb season. projections-13w 191k 3.56era 1.15whip
Jon Lester is a great player. He had a rough season in the 2017 season, know one know why. But he is supposed to be great this season. Here are his projections- 13w 178k 3.72era 1.24whip.
My last player to suggest to you is Jake Arrieta. He had a rough season last year as well as Jon Lester. Here are his projection-12w 154k 3.84era 1.27whip.

Here are the top 3 ways for drafting a successful team in any fantasy league. Number one always draft players that have been healthy the pre-existing year. So you have a lower chance of getting a injured player and have a healthy team. Number two draft a balanced team do not have to many scrubs or else your team will fall apart. If you are just relying on your stars and one of them gets injured what are you going to do. So make sure you draft a balanced team. I am not saying do not pick stars, pick a couple of stars but also some medium players to balance your team out. Number 3 really prepare for your draft and look up sleepers who projected bust are going to be and who is currently injured who is injured and supposed to come back and have great year and role players. Those are the ways to building a successful fantasy team.

In the 2018 season there are going to be a lot of good sleepers. Like Madison Bumgarner, Christian Yelich, and Andrew Benintendi, and a bunch more and I am going to list a few of them. Rafael Devers he had a very good season towards the end of the season. Travis Shaw he is a real power hitter he hit 27+ homers last season. A.J Pollock he has the speed to out run a chetah, he is a big stolen base person that not a lot of people know about. Chris Taylor is a phenomenal player last season he had 14+ stolen bases and 16+ homers and a pretty good average and runs and RBIs. But he was limited last season due to injury, so he should be really good this season. Alex Bregman had a okay season last year for me personally he was someone I picked up and dropped on the . waiver wire, but he has solid stats that he might be worthy for a slot on your roster. Madison Bumgarner had a off-season last year, he was really good in the beginning of the season and then had his bike accident and it and it hurt his arm but he could be amazing this year so keep your mind open. Christian Yelich is a rising star, last season he hit 25+ homers last season and stole a few bases not a ton but a few, I expect him to be really good this year. Andrew Benintendi is a all around player last season he stole 15+ stolen bases and hit 15+ homers and had a average of .273, that is a pretty good all around player.

There are a lot of fantasy baseball rookies out there. Some of them have potential some of them were bust and some are great. I am going to tell you about the rookies with potential. One of the my number one rookie picks would be Shohei Ohtani. He has had amazing stats in high school and collage. You get a real benefit from him because in fantasy he is a pitcher and a designated hitter, so that means he will be getting you a ton of fantasy points. Here are his projections for 2018. He is supposed to be 10-6 165k 3.48ERA and and 1.24WHIP. If he stays healthy and good shape, he should be a star.
My second rookie I am going to show you guys was drafted by the braves. By you thinking in the first second you are reading this you are like the braves a bad except for Freddie freeman. That one star should have another buddy, Ronald Acuna. He was great in collage great in high school, and is supposed to be a star in the majors. He has proved time and time again that he worthy of being in the majors and wants to show everyone that he is the next big thing. He is fast as lighting maybe in a couple of years the next Billy Hamilton and has a crazy hard. I am not going to lie his projected average is .253, but still consider him because he is going to make your team shine. He is amazing I know I am going to pick him for my team in my draft. Now I am going to tell you about his projections for 2018. As I said earlier his average is a little rough .253 average is not the best but a lot of rookies have that kind of average their first year so do not get two worried. He is projected 15 Homers and 30 Stolen bases. I know in most of your drafts Billy Hamilton or Dee Gordon will go early in your draft but this guy will be a very good person for stolen bases. He will be a starting OF for the Atlanta braves. He is a future star!
My third choice of a rookie to suggest to you is Gleyber Torres. He will be fighting for the Short stop position. But he has a great chance at getting the slot. Gleyber Torres he is a really great player he has speed of a chetah the ability to hit the ball. Overall he is a really good player. But he has some rough edges to him. His projection say he is really good in stolen bases and pretty good in homers but he is a little rough around the edges in RBIs and average and runs. His projected amount of RBIs are 65, and his projected average is .245 but he could overcome that those are just projections, and his projected runs are 61. Let me tell you about the good projections so you can consider him for your roster. Gleyber Torres is supposed to have 16 Stolen bases and supposed to have 19 homers. I have been told that in the darkest moments of things there is always light, and there is the light with the Stolen bases and the homers. I am definitely going to have this guy on my team.
Thank you for listening to what I have to say about fantasy. If you like this article leave a comment and like it please. Than you can here more fantasy action.
If you have a fantasy team that is okay, then you have to be very active on the waiver wire. You should look at players that are hot, not big names that bad stats. Here are some great pickups on the waiver wire.
Corey Beasley He is healthy receiver and will have really big games and will have medium games
Steve Smith Sr. He is wide receiver one and will be a great pickup and he has mostly medium games but he can really brake out
Kenny Stills is another great pickup he is wide receiver that will average about 10-11.5 fantasy points per game
Those are my top three waiver wire fantasy picks, that will help your team if you have a player on your team that stinks pickup one of these guys.
The positions you should spend the most draft dollars in your draft Wr, RB,QB. Because they give you the most points. In my draft this year I am going for Mike Evans, David Johnson/Ezikiel Elliot, and Jameis Winston/Tom Brady/Marcus Mariota. There all young except Tom Brady, but he still has some left and you can get him cheep in the draft. But you at least need one star in all three of these positions.
My top two choices for kickers on your 2017 football fantasy drafts, would be Justin Tucker and Stephen Gostkowski, and heres why. Justin Tucker is my number one pick by a little bit. Tucker has been number one for quite some time. He is a miracle, he has a very bad offense he has managed to stay at the top. Here are his stats from last season, he played 16 out of the 16 games of the season, he had 38 fg and made 10 50+ yard fg, and had 141 fantasy points. He is a healthy kicker to go with.
Stephen Gostkowski has has been at the top for awhile, just as Justin Tucker. But gostkowski has the top offense instead of the worst. So Gostkowski gets less points in a game. These are Gostkowski’s 2016 stats from last season. He played 16 out of the 16 games in the season, made 27 fg and 3 50+ field goals, and got 127 fantasy points.
David Johnson is by far my number one pick for running back. Because he has had around two or three great seasons with only getting injured around two times in those season. Last season he played 16 out of 16 games as there starting running back, and had 1,239 yards, and 16 touchdowns in the 2016 season. You will definitely want him as one of your running backs.
“Le’Veon Bell is the ultimate filth machine”
Le’Veon Bell is as elite as you can get he is the ultimate filth machine. Lev’veon had a really good season for being suspended half of the season. he played 12 of the 16 games in the season, got 1,268 yards last season with seven touchdowns. But keep in mind he get’s injured a lot, and you need your running back healthy.
Ezikiel Elliot is the full package, he is fast young, and puts up big stats. It was a close call to put Lev’eon or Elliot as a second choice but Lev’eon has a better carrer overall. Elliot played 15 out of the 16 games in the season, had 1,631 yards last year, and 15 touchdowns. I don’t think Elliot will stop being beast anytime soon.
